10selden, formerly known as The ATC, is a community arts space located in the Amity area right on the New Haven line. We are preparing to reopen our 7000 square foot facility with a recording studio, music/art lessons, full concert stage with professional sound and lights, and a newly remodeled art gallery. No moshing same thing about the sound everyone else has said but is a good all ages venue just not for me
I echo the complaints about sound, but at least the last time the sound guy got the sound finally dialed in really nicely. I am not sure the shows are well promoted around New Haven. No fliers that I saw. It's a shame because the bands I saw were so good and yet were billed on a weeknight. Nobody really but the family and friends came out. 10 Selden needs to do more promos about the great shows and great space they have going on!
sound guy was making rude comments, not listening to the bands, and rushing them. He was very unprofessional. Especially to the person they recruited to do sound, definitely on a power trip.
Excellent entertainment @ quaint place and the staff were accommodating.
