Went here for brunch before a show at Syracuse Stage. There is no kids menue or plastic cups even for little ones. Chocolate milk from a wine glass for a toddler is risky. The food was not worth even half the price. It was bland and the menue is very limited. The fruit was rotten and had mold on some of it. The juice glass had food stuck on the inside from poor washing. There were visible stains above the table from water leaks. The waiter was ok, but we will definitely avoid visiting again.

Restaurant in the lobby of the hotel made on convenient to get dinner after a long day. There is also a bar. The bartender/waitress was a rockstar. She was the only one serving and bartending to a very full restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was very good as well. We had the bolognese and cheeseburger.

I go to Syracuse Law School and I’ve been in town for residencies twice now. Came here last year for dinner and brunch and came again this year. Always always always a positive experience. The servers are very nice. The food tastes like it was made with love. If you’re ever around the University and are looking for a sit in classic American cuisine with great, warm people, that appear to love their job, I highly recommend this place. Don’t leave Syracuse without coming here.

Stopped into Salt Restaurant yesterday - Stephen, the Manager, immediately greeted us - very nice - very professional. I have seen him here many times filling in when he also does not have enough staff members - he is the most polite man - Thank you Stephen for another excellent experience at Salt!
