I continue to have maintenance arrive the same day I place my work order. Twice my debit card was hacked and I called management and they said that I could pay when I was able. The teams I have dealt with are friendly and knowledgeable and experienced. Now my partner wants to move here in January and I am excited! I am physically disabled and 72 years old. Friendly staff, accepting ofLGBTQIA Community. Excellent follow through with maintenance, sometimes the same day I sent my work order, they arrived! Tatiana is knowledgeable and very helpful! Love the lounge now just redone on the 14th floor and first floor entrance is beautifully preserved from the past. New washers and dryers and great for Loyola University students! I have lived here for 8 &1/2 years now.
This building is one of the worst managed buildings in Chicago. I lived here for 6 years and the only thing that kept me here was the dirt cheap rent for the amazing views and the location next to Loyola. No central air, smells of mold constantly, the very sketchy elevators that seem barely operational, to insane tenants. I had a pipe burst in my room and it took them weeks to fix it, and there was definitely mold in that carpet. If you are looking at unit 1302, stay far away until they renovate the entire unit. I’m not sure where to begin here. Full transparency, my rent is just short of $2000. 2 bedroom, renovated unit. I’ll just go ahead and give you the run down before you decide to rent here. Pros: 1. Location. Can’t beat it honestly. If you are a student, it’s prime. Even if you aren’t, you can’t beat the location. 2. Maintenance. It is one guy running the whole maintenance thing, so it is hard to get a hold of them. However, he is very helpful and friendly. Props to him.
