Top notch restaurant. But after all these years they are still cash-only, which has prevented me from going to 101 Noodle a few times.
Best alternative place to go if you like din tai fung. I usually get the dumpling, spicy beef noodles, and beef wrap.

Very Tasty food! Everything that I've tried here is good. The many choices of dumplings, their Dan Dan noodles, and especially, their tasty beef rolls! Those are awesome. The only downfall.... cash only (like a lot of asian restaurants). But hey, it's good stuff.
good food, good price, no English dan dan mien and the beef rolls are two of my favorite dishes there! cash only but fast service, not always friendly (for American standards) but it's just culture differences. Most waitresses their can't speak much English.
Delicious! Delicious, especially on a hot day! Definately try the beef rolls, they are the best. The beef noodles are also good.
Tiny Chinese noodle house boasts a flock of loyal customers – In Short Unassumingly set in the slew of restaurants off Valley blvd, this authentic noodle house easily gets lost among others. Minimal decor makes it far from impressive, but what sets this hole in the wall apart is its busy atmosphere. Diners come from around the San Gabriel Valley for large, piping hot bowls of noodles, an array of dumplings, and their famed beef roll, an onion cake which serves to wrap thin slices of beef and cilantro.
very good noodles and beef rolls!! I love the minced pork noodles and the dan dan noodles!! The beef rolls are a bit greasy but sinfully delicious! You must also try their fish dumplings, they melt in your mouth!! I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!!
Get the beef roll – Foodies in the know flock to this restaurant to eat the beef roll. It is a tantalizing sandwich made from stuffing a green onion pancake with beef, cilantro, and hoisin sauce and rolling it up into a "wrap". It's OK to take out, but eat there. You might have to deal with waitress who are a bit unfriendly and who don't speak English, but other than that, it is one of the best foods in all of Southern California.
