More like a 4.5, because no place is perfect! Saying that, my visit was wonderful. My wife and I came here for dinner walking around downtown and decided to stroll in. They had a modern look with a nice display of class. The food was superb, we had calimari to begin with followed by a to-die-for NY strip (marinated in bourbon and other juices) and rubbed with a coffee-ground. 101 Downtown This place is on the upscale side for Gainesville and is always fun. They take reservations and have a room for larger parties so it's good for birthday dinners. The food is good but the atmosphere is what brings people in.
