I lived here not too long ago. I totally like it. I recommend it. The manager and maintenance manager here works well and the apartment is well managed. If there's a problem in the house, they solve it quickly. If you were to find a house in Glendale, this would be the best place.

Terrible place. If you have an ESA don't even try to come here if it weighs over 25 pounds. He said most people "fake their letters" so he doesn't accept them. Then they will try to claim that dogs over 25 pounds pose a threat to other members in the complex with out making an assessment of the animal which you are required to do by CA law. It wasn't worth fighting someone that clearly doesn't know what he's talking about but I definitely would not recommend trying to rent here to others.
The place is great. The manager, (no names) can be a bit standoff-ish, but if you tell him to get something fixed, he will. He’s always in his office, but you have to accept the way he is and just tell him to take care of whatever you need. I’ve been here for almost 2 years, and the building, pool, laundry room, and all amenities are tip top. Place is great, you just have to put your foot down with the manager and deal with him with a grain of salt. If you work in or near Glendale, I recommend 1001 melrose.
