I went to Subaru to get my brakes checked (as they were squeaky) and for an issue with my drivers side window. I also asked for a general check of my car, which is 7 years old but only has about 30k miles on it. They fixed my window, for about $100, said my brakes were fine (still squeak) and the general check cost about $800. They charged me over $400 for labor and the rest for fluid changes (I’d just gotten my oil changed less than a month ago, and they changed it again), and whatever other nonsense.
