Got our old oak floors refreshed and refinished about six years ago. It DID look amazing at that time. The problem started a few years later as the "25 year" finish began to wear off in spots and the wood under began to fade again. If there were a zero, that's how many stars this company should get. A friend just called me over to see her recently refinished floors. Words almost fail me -- they look like a botched facelift. Instead of a uniform, invisible, coating, this formerly attractive floor is now covered by a patchwork of textures -- some shiny, some rough and gravelly, some pimply, some that look like tire tracks.
