My elderly father in law used this company. They missed the original scheduled pickup date. Never called him to let him know when they would truly arrive. In-laws had to keep the travel schedule. Finally got a call.Container overweight, now customer service calling them with automated system leaving them on hold for hours. Finally got a human on the phone. No resolution or compensation. In-laws. Have to fly back to get the weight right.
We moved from Idaho to Georgia in September using them. When we moved we didn’t have an address, but we knew which city we’d be in. The rep I scheduled with told me that they delivered to that city and the surrounding areas so it wouldn’t be an issue. The end of October we got a house and I went to call to schedule a delivery and they told me my address wasn’t serviceable and I was going to have to come unpack the packrat, repack it onto a trailer, U-Haul, or whatever I needed to and they’d set it out for us to do so. Heads up that the quote has fine print to fluctuate based on "gas prices" so for 1 x 16 ft container it was $500 more than quoted once picked up. I wish they would be accurate on quoting on the front end. The container was picked up on the proper date, but then went to the facility to sit for a week and a half. We then got a call it hadn't been assigned to a truck for whatever reason and the delivery was 1 week late from the "10 day transport " quote. Everything was fine until we scheduled to get into our container. The storage facility was closed on Saturday, even though Packrat set the appointment for us. Then they said we could sign a waiver to have the storage place leave the unit out for the night/weekend if we needed to go there after hours. I am payinga monthly storage fee to keep it safe and secure, so that was not a realistic option. The rep my wife spoke to didn't seem too concerned with our frustration.
