I’m highly disappointed with my experience with Packrat. Tried to schedule a pickup 7 days in advance and there was no availability. I spent hours on hold for the last few days because I need to get it removed off the property prior to closing. Today after getting the run around and being placed on hold for almost an hour I was finally told there was nothing they could do. For a company that sells you on connivence, I expected more. This was the worst decision I made for moving.

My personal experience with 1-800-Pack-Rat was frustrating and disappointing. I was scheduled for a long distance move from Southwest Florida to Philadelphia. We reserved an 8' container in March, because I lost a lot of my belongings in the hurricanes- for my move at the end of April. Over a month reservation. The day for the container to be delivered and they called and said they didnt have any 8' so they are giving me the 12' for the same price. I have been trying for 9 days to work with packrat on getting my long distance move secured for today June first. I have been guaranteed many times this date. When I scheduled this service with them I made it very clear we were hosting a move in party with about 40 people. Many people traveling in from far away and also we spent money on catering in advance to feed our guests. Not only have people spent money coming here we've paid almost $1000 in catering. Worst moving experience ever. Do NOT book this trash company — you will regret it. I moved out over a week ago, and my belongings are STILL stuck at my old property. I can barely get ahold of anyone, and when I finally did, the representative lied and claimed they were “closed on Tuesdays” so I couldn’t get my items. I honestly believe she just wanted me off the phone. The pickup date was scheduled and recorded, and they never showed up. Terrible customer service. They were quick to take my money and get me a container, but that is where everything stopped. Day before delivery I received an email that my container did not ship and would be delayed 1 week. I tried to contact Pack Rat four times, only to be on hold for 35-40 minutes each time. Then nobody could help me and said I would get a call back. Nobody ever called back. Trust me, call Pods!
