Avoid at all costs. They did not drop off or pick up on scheduled days even though we paid extra to ensure it. Customer service wait times are way too long. They were supposed to hold container in storage until we moved but dropped it off at the house before we made settlement and nearly ruined the sale.

Drop off was fine but still waiting for unit to be picked up. They missed their day-long pick up window, gave us another pick up window and missed that as well. We’ll see when it finally gets picked up. Customer service is terrible. Now seeing the other reviews it’s a miracle the pod was actually dropped off on time.

Mike M., driver fromPack-Rat, just delivered our container. He spent time consulting with us to decide the best placement on the yard in order to allow movers to bring things up from our basement. Mike was friendly and so helpful. The container is clean and ready for our move!

Unreal.. I didn’t look at the reviews before I tried and well look at this… there is a reason you see 1 star reviews. Don’t use pack rat. It’s legitimately $20 or so more for pods. Doesn’t matter, you get what you pay for, if you’re looking for cheap you get rat cheap. Never using this company.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with 1800 Pack Rat. I scheduled 2 units for pick up and delivery in advanced over the phone and confirmed everything through the online portal weeks and again days in advanced. Every step along the way (2 drop off and 2 pick ups on each side of the move - total of 8 transactions) there was a delay. Sometimes I got no call no shows, other times I got called from the warehouses that my containers wouldn't be delivered or pick up for another day or more. I am generally very patient an... read more
