If I could give 1800packrat (and Zippy) negative stars, I would. Zero stars honestly feels generous. Where do I even begin? 1800 managed to miss their promised delivery date TWICE. Not once. TWICE. And apparently, once they miss your delivery, their next step is to make you responsible for tracking down your own shipment. There were no meaningful updates unless I called them myself. Terrible customer service. We were supposed to have a pod delivered to our new house today and when I called for an ETA they told us the truck just broke down and she can’t get ahold of someone at the facility because they’re assisting with the truck and they can’t guarantee it’ll will be delivered tonight or tomorrow morning, and that there are no slot available in time before we move. We ordered the pod over 3 weeks in advanced and was never told it wasn’t going to be delivered unless I called.

I’m highly disappointed with my experience with Packrat. Tried to schedule a pickup 7 days in advance and there was no availability. I spent hours on hold for the last few days because I need to get it removed off the property prior to closing. Today after getting the run around and being placed on hold for almost an hour I was finally told there was nothing they could do. For a company that sells you on connivence, I expected more. This was the worst decision I made for moving.

My personal experience with 1-800-Pack-Rat was frustrating and disappointing. I was scheduled for a long distance move from Southwest Florida to Philadelphia. We reserved an 8' container in March, because I lost a lot of my belongings in the hurricanes- for my move at the end of April. Over a month reservation. The day for the container to be delivered and they called and said they didnt have any 8' so they are giving me the 12' for the same price.
