Zzq has some of the best bbq. Beef rib 8/10 brisket 7/10 chicken 8/10 collards 8.7/10 Mac and cheese 6/10 sauces 7. Service was 10/10. Do yourself a favor and eat at zzq.

The absolute best BBQ in Richmond. Texas style barbecue done right- come early because they inevitably run out of something. Sides or entrees, you can’t go wrong.
After just moving to Richmond a week ago, we happened to be scanning the map looking for lunch as we drove around to get to know the city. We happened to see ZZQ on the map and BBQ sounded good. Wow, what a life-changing last minute decision! Not only is the food incredible - and I know BBQ, the attention to detail in customer experience is truly remarkable. We will be back soon, and repeatedly.
Waited over an hour to get in, and was absolutely starving. We ordered Brisket and Bacon Ribs for our meat selections. Then we ordered jalapeno Mac and cheese, Garlic mashed potatoes, Collard greens, and the beans with cornbread on the side. The Brisket was good but not as good as I expected, but the bacon ribs were out of this world..
