ZZQ Barbecue in Richmond, VA was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! 🔥🍖 I had the chicken with jalape�o mac & cheese, and it was incredible. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The jalape�o mac & cheese was the perfect combination of creamy and spicy—so good! If this place was in Austin Texas it would have a large line waiting at opening time. I drove from Manassas and was not disappointed. Ive been to 6 of Texas’s top 10 BBQ restaurants and the beef rib and brisket here is definitely in the same class. Bought enough brisket to make breakfast tacos for a week.
Very good bbq and kudos for excellent atmosphere and interior layout, authentic to the Texas bbq shops and gives an oasis vibe. The pork ribs portion I got was meaty and the turkey is served in an au jus which they dip into again after cutting, which is a good touch. It is slightly expensive but that is because the quality is there.
