I found him to be wildly and inappropriately optimistic, given the circumstances. Lots of false hope, which may be the the way this line of work goes for those with later-stage diagnoses, but the unacceptable lateness to appointments, prescribing of drugs that interacted dangerously, and bad jokes aside (how does a doctor kid about “grabbing lunch” to a person who cannot eat?) , I was amazed that he recommended a more aggressive round of chemotherapy in the last days of a patient’s life when the previous months of treatment ... read more
I've been with Dr. Kafri since 2013 for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma - Follicular. We've gone through lots of different treatment to eventual got me to remission. Unfortunately, this kind of cancer can relapse, "pop up" over and over. Dr. Kafri is always "two steps ahead" and knowscwhat needs to be done next. He's kept me going…. I highly recommend him for your cancer issues, at least he will give you an answer, alternatives, etc. I'm very fortunate!
