I recently came in for an abdominal sonogram and was very disappointed with the experience. The sonographer did not prepare me properly for the exam—she didn’t offer a gown to change into and only gave me a couple of small hand towels to clean up afterward. Went for a thyroid biopsy on 4/14/2025 with Dr Dorfman at the Huntington location was my first time at this office, staff very friendly and clean when we entered office! My sonogram technician and the tech in the room were extremely friendly and super nice , I'm very nervous person and Erica and Christine made me feel extremely comfortable and made me not so nervous by holding my hand and distracting me made me feel at ease!!! Did not detect tumor in my cecum after an CT. I then had an colonoscopy 3 weeks later that detected a tumor I returned for a new CT of my chest, abdomen and pelvis. They went back to the CT from 4 weeks prior and did an amended report. Their doctor missed a very large tumor.
