Arrived at 9am to an almost empty storefront with my three children - travelling from Australia. We were rudely told that it was 45 minute wait time due to online orders. The young woman could speak English well though was really rude. When I indicated we were on the move - she sighed and asked what we wanted but could wait up to ten minutes - initially she nodded but then changed her mind. ZUS Coffee was on my list to visit in Ipoh, and I’m glad I stopped by. I tried a latte recommended by the barista, and it turned out really good. I usually prefer sweet coffee, and this one wasn’t sweet at all, but the coffee itself was great. It would be even better with a bit of sweetness. The space is big, comfortable, and aesthetic, with nice murals and decor.
Staff name: Mohamad Khairil Anuar Bin Azizan The service was very poor. The staff had no manners and no patience. When my father couldn’t understand English very well and had to ask the question again, the attitude was very bad and disrespectful.
Nice outlet with quite a lot of seats but being in a touristy area could easily be filled up during weekends. Note to the management - If you're approaching from afar you'll see the Zus sign but if you're walking on the corridor right in front of the shop you won't know where is the Zus because there's no sign on the show window/door & in fact you'll see the BIG reflection of their competitor. The Zus sign INSIDE the shop is covered(?!!) by a pillar. Don't know much about feng shui but I'm thinking it's not too good.
