I have been going to Zuni to get my hair cut for 8+ years now. She is the hair expert, and I completely trust her with my hair. I just let her know the length, and leave it up to her to decide the cut and style. Sometimes I show her pictures of what I want, and she gives her professional opinion on what look will suit my face, and what won't. so other than the fact that this place looks and smells absolutely filthy (hair, dust, numerous articles of clothing and random products sprawled everywhere,) they also have a lady with a 3rd grade education working there.. (or maybe she owns the building… yikes..) 1. they have a sign on the front door that says $2.99 for eyebrows; cool, i’ll go in, check it out and get my eyebrows done. I don’t go here too often, but when I do, I always leave looking better than I looked prior to arriving. Zuni is skilled, and she treats me like family. She respects the COVID-19 regulations and she has incredibly reasonable prices. She’s great at what she does. I recently got bangs and they came out fantastic! About a year ago, I had my hair curled for a special occasion, and they came out well and lasted longer than I expected.
