Avoid Zumbrota at all costs!!! The first remanufactured differential I received was missing a pinion seal, and a worm gear in the carrier was extremely loose! The 2nd one they sent me had the older Auburn style carrier instead of the Torsen one that was OEM for my vehicle YMM. It doesn't look like they are doing anything to refurbish their carriers, just cleaning and slapping them in. Neither one had a magnet on the cover, I had to buy a cover with a magnet from O'Reillys because I didn't want my old one to fly off the cover... read more
purchased a new front diff from them for my truck through autozone. they called and canceled the order because their book says my truck has 3.42 gears and I ordered a 3.73 gear set. when I called, they were happy to sell me the unit I wanted, directly from them, which is $100 more than buying from autozone, oh and it won't come with a warranty if they want me to take this down, they can either honor my sale through autozone or they can sell me the unit directly, including the warranty. slimy business practices will be punish... read more
I bought a getrag 360 for a 1990 dodge ram w350 from them. Complete garbage. Its a struggle to get in every gear. The transmission fights you the whole way. Then had to call to remind them of returning core charge. NEVER AGAIN
Bought a transmission bearing/synchro kit for my Datsun and Mitsubishi. Very impressed with their service and the quality of the parts.
