A lesson in due diligence. If you hire ZP Construction, protect yourself by getting every single detail in writing through a formal contract that aligns with Wisconsin regulations. Based on my personal experience, homeowners should do thorough due diligence before hiring a contractor. In addition to reading online reviews, verify licenses and insurance, confirm permits are obtained when required, review Wisconsin CCAP records, and insist on detailed written contracts, change orders, and lien waivers throughout the project. Home construction projects are significant investments, and taking these extra steps can help homeowners protect themselves and avoid costly misunderstandings or issues later on.
