I've been operating these systems on and off for over 20 years. I'm currently running an obsolete SZ 3000. With the help of our HVAC partner it keeps on going. Parts are not available anymore so we don't have control of a couple RTUs on the system. It really hasn't been a problem with the new SZ thermostats. This system is flexible enough to operate even if components are broken.
