Doesn't over-treat. Before meeting Dr. Ghogawala, I spoke with other spine surgeons who recommended a full laminectomy for lumbar spinal stenosis. Dr. Ghogawala suggested a far less invasive endoscopic laminotomy focused just on the severe level. This would relieve pressure without cutting joints or muscle—and it would leave my spine strong. Dr. Ghogawala performed surgery on my mother several months ago. The surgery left her in debilitating pain to the point where she can't even sit up straight. My mother and father attempted to contact Ghogawala's office for several months and they were completely ignored. In his post-op notes, Dr. Ghogawala mentioned that he briefed my mother that the surgery might make things worse - THIS IS A LIE. Man is a Genius and deserves everything this world has to offer. The amount of people he has helped is incredible! After years of neglecting my body, I had nerves dying from two herniated disc in my cervical spine. I lost control of my fingers and major fatigue in my arms. I have had five Surgeries with Dr Ghogawala.He is warm, caring, doesn't jump to surgery, knowledgeable beyond measure & his nurse is also more than helpful. I now travel from Florida to Massachusetts for treatment, I wouldn't see anyone else.
