The Zoar Hotel isn't actually operable or a serviceable hotel at all. It isn't open to the public, but it's an incredible structure to see that looms largely over the town and cast a great historical shadow. The hotel built in 1833 is a decade short of two hundred years old. When we went to the Historical Zoar Hotel it was closed for renovations, but we were able to walk around, look in first floor windows and take some pics I want to go back to tour it when possible The history of this Village is amazing as the first commune until 1898.
Wonderful place to visit and shop also great place to learn about local history
