Food is amazing, portions are big, the staff is friendly and the service was great. Will be frequenting zizi’s from now on!!!
Arnav the kunafa messiah from Houston checking in. Very very solid kunafa. I would rate this close to an 8.5/9/10 - with ice cream I’d put this above a 9.5. This is a must try in Chicago. Freshly baked, moist kunafa, perfect crisp. Mannnn to good
Love coming here and frequent this establishment about every 2-3 weeks. Always come in and order the Chicken Donner Iskender Kebab(definitely recommend this dish it’s delicious). I often forget the name and normally am able to communicate what I want to the waitress(normally something along the lines of “the chicken Donner with the Turkish bread”). Two of us went to Zizi's for lunch for the first time and tried the smoked eggplant salad, red lentil soup, and "lady fingers" (a combination of lentils, bulgur, and scallions). The flavors and textures might seem familiar to anyone whose had middle eastern cuisine, but at the same time, there were subtle, but delightful differences from the usual.
