Run far away as fast as you can. This OB is not up to speed on current medical data or practices and is incredibly manipulative and gaslighting. Awful encounter with him, I can’t imagine bringing life into this world with him delivering your child, luckily I didn’t have to.

I saw Dr. Zivney between approximately 2009 and 2015. In my experience, Dr. Zivney provided quick pap smears and good communication of results with good practice around my comfort and consent during the procedure. I appreciated the quality of this care. Unprofessional. Conducted procedures that we discovered were medically unnecessary, upon consultation with other professionals. Stated explicitly that he was only willing to provide birth control for married women and that he would place an IUD for me only because I had a 'legitimate' medical reason. Asked him to give me a moment before beginning exam, but he did not wait. Consent matters regardless of whether it's a partner or a healthcare professional. Women, stay away.

Only cared if I was wanting to get pregnant. I went to Dr. Zivney office at least 5 times in 4 years. Each experience was worse than the prior visit. I could list at least 10 things that were disappointing. A few were: On the form, it listed how many children do you have. I listed all my children, plus answering the questions about miscarriages.
