The Zip Car Wash on *****************, ******* erroneously charged me $45.00. They were running a promotion that was supposed to be $10.00 per month for 2 months. They charged me the $10.00 on 12/29/23 and then charged me $45.00 on 01/11/24. I called with the issue and was told they would send me an email with details as to what I needed to provide to correct the issue. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. You used to be able to just pay for a single car wash, but now you have to buy a subscription. Once you buy the subscription, you have no access to it. I've been getting charged $45 a month with no way of cancelling my account or accessing my account in any way. The FAQ section on their website doesn't do anything - none of the FAQs open, and this is where the 'how do I cancel my account' information is supposedly located. Nothing positive. Business is poorly managed. Customer service, not professional at all. Had an incident: backside of side view mirror fell off while inside the car wash. Took a week for someone to properly help me submit a claim only to get denied. They stated that it is displayed not responsible for damages to the car, or broken parts….etc. Myself is a lesson learned, however it is very unfortunate. Be careful with Zips Car Wash. I signed up for the monthly unlimited car wash at $20.00 per month. This month, without warning, they raised it to $25.00 per month. I canceled. I got an email offering to keep the rate at $20 for 6 months if I would stay. I agreed. The next day I got an email saying it would be $20 a month for 3 months and then go to $35.00 a month. I emailed back and cancelled. I think they try to hook you in and then recover the "discount" by raising the rate. I guess they figure you won't notice it and see ... read more
"This car wash location has a monthly charge for unlimited wash. I signed up for basic wash, sometime later it changed to higher price per month. The car wash is broken many times when you go and the vacuums. Trash all over the place and just looks trashed. The brushes in the automatic wash haven’t worked several times and the last time I went it didn’t rinse soap hardly at all. Why keep paying for a membership when it’s broken and not working?! Horrible experience. $25 car wash and my car came out worse than when I went through.
Said they could get all bugs off my car for an additional fee. When I got home I noticed bugs on several places on front of car. I went back the next day and they said because I had left the property, there was nothing they could do. I had also went back to join in the $19.95 monthly group. The young man didn’t seem to care.
