Growing up in O'ahu, then moving to the Mainland, Zippy's holds that "sentimental value" in my heart. Very nostalgic local feel atmosphere and food. Classic old school saimin, my go to every time I head back. Can't start my visit unless I have Zippy's. Everything else is so spot on in flavor. Chili, fried chicken etc... it can be a wait for a table, not all the time, but the food is worth the wait. Where you see the Locals go to eat, try it too.
