Jim is very helpful and friendly, he is very knowledgeable.
Has had our vehicle for four months now. Never once had called us to update on anything. We always have to call him. Some weeks we have to call so many times just to get an answer. Different reason each time that it isn't ready. Finally last week said it should be ready that week and then since then we can't get him to answer the phone at his shop. Jimmy is the best transmission mechanic I have ever met. Not only did he diagnose the issue correctly he went over and beyond and treated me more than fair on price. He is well worth the wait as he is a busy shop and after fixing my transmission I understand why he has such a following. He is such a great person beyond being a business transaction. He noticed that my brakes were not functioning properly and he took his time out of his busy schedule to fix my brakes to make them safe as he kept saying I can't let you leave he... read more
I don’t normally write reviews (which I should) but Jimmy and his shop MORE than deserve it! I was in a REALLY tough situation with a LONG ordeal of getting my transmission “rebuilt” by a “retired transmission tech” with “time” (took 5 weeks when he said it would be 1) just to have the transmission go AGAIN less then 3 months later. Jimmy confirmed the guy likely didn’t do much. Out of a truck means out of work for me (self employed) and when I called Jimmy he gave sympathy without being asked.
