Zion Summit is getting old, past administrations have not prioritized important maintenance of the building, instead, they have spent lots of money updating the interior common areas. The HOA is getting higher and higher. Owners will have to pay ten of thousands of dollars on an assessment. Many might be forced to sell their unit. Original windows don't have good insolation, you can hear the noise of traffic and everything else, especially those facing South. This is a very old building that depends on the residents to pay its way through renovation. The water gets shut off at least once every couple weeks for a whole day, there are constant leaks, lots of apartments are under construction and so many residents experience loud noises and drilling, there is little to no involvement from management, garage doors are frequently broken, the residents themselves are entitled and rude, it’s taken months on end to install basic appliances like water heaters and ac units. I lived here for two years and can definitely say it is not a place for younger people. A lot of the residents are rude, judgemental, and unfriendly. I once held a door open for an elderly woman with groceries and after she was in the building she demanded I show her my fob to prove I lived there. The new “security”? guy is the worst. Like the review below, he also threatened to lock the elevator on us and was incredibly hateful.
