I took my truck to Zion Motors after the engine let go on transmission gully. They initially quoted me $5,000 to replace the head. The price then jumped to $7,500. After keeping my truck for 8 full weeks, they came back with a final quote of $11,500 for an engine recondition. I had already paid a $2,000 deposit. We a family of 6 on route to Hamilton from Wainui pretty much lost our brakes on transmission gully a week after our van passed its WOF.Our rotor warped along the transmission gully at 3:30pm. We drove around to several places, all closed. After hearing our plight, Zion Motors went above and beyond, called in others to fix the issues, cleaned our Paru windscreen.
