its been sometime since I have gone but never had a bad meal at this place. I have one request from the facility please make your beef wellingtons again I loved them and they so would bring me back again with out a second thought. Everyone was friendly and owners involved like an old world Italian restaurant....my husbands family has been going here on and off for years.
I had lunch at Zio Fraedo's yesterday for the first time in my life and I had the most wonderful scallops I have ever tasted in my life. My lunch came with soup or salad and I chose the soup, Beef Barley....heaven!!! The service was impecible and precise and curtious and always with a smile...unbelievable!!!!
I have been going to Zio's for years, both the old restaurant and the new one. I am always amazed the place isn't packed. I have held several banquets and have always been extremly pleased with every aspect of the event. The food is reasonably priced when you factor in bread, soup or salad, and two side dishes. I always have food left over to take home. I have never been there and not had the owner, "Big Tony" buy me a drink. Wow of the scale good – Today we had the reception for my mother-in-laws funeral at the restaruant. The food was unbelievable, the service is fantastic, anfd the management was super attentive. We were able to have a nice farewell her and even with an open bar the bill was reasonable. I can only imagiune what the foos would be like for individual diners. Thank you so much Zio fraedos!
Great for special occasions, large or small – My family wanted to hold a special birthday celebration. The owner was very accommodating -- we were encouraged to come in early and decorate (we were given a corner table and took it over for the entire evening!). The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and they really treated us like family. Italiano Anyone?! – The experience for me was good. My Fiancee brought me there because his father knew the owner. He treated us like family, and gave us extra special care, and a free dessert. I had the linguini with clam sauce it was good, a bit gritty tho'! Other wise a great experience...
Moderate prices and elegant environment. – I had lunch there with ny boss last week. It was perhaps the best Prime Rib sandwich that I've had in a long time. The meat was tender and juicy, and the fries were perfectly done. my boss ordered the calamari steak and was pleased with the food as well as the presentation. Continental cuisine dream – I was very pleased with the welcome at the front desk. They made us feel like we were regulars (even though it was our first time there). The ceasar salad was made at our table and that is something you don't get in restaurants often. And it was delicious.....The service was great and so was the chicken toscona. If you are a creme bruele fan you must go there to try. My husband and I will be regulars....thanks Zio's
