Stingy and Greedy Compared To Other Ice Cream Businesses. The following happened to my friend and I in Spring 2013 and Spring 2014. First time we ignored it and decided to give them a second chance in 2014 but they blew it. They Only allow one sample then you must buy some thing or leave. We are not rude. Absolutely Awful – My friends and I were appalled at how rude one of the employees (obviously not a manager, but he wishes he were) was to us. We were in line to buy the VERY OVERPRICED ice cream when the guy behind the counter comes over to us and kicks my friend out for "making a mess" when she wasn't even touching the elephant ear on her plate. "You've gotta get out of here, now," he said. She leaves, he gives us a dirty look, and we walk out with her, talking loudly about how rude he was. We walked awhile down the street... read more
Look elsewhere for delicious ice cream – Although everything is homemade, this store leaves a lot to be desired in flavor. All the ice cream we had was very bland and lacked much of any flavor making you want more. There are many ice cream stores in this town, and in my opinion, this one was the worst of them all. Not worth the money. My 4 year old even said it was "yucky" and refused to eat it. If a 4 year old won't eat your vanilla ice cream, you know something is wrong.
great homemade ice cream – They have lots of great and unusual flavors, I had the gingersnap which had good flavor and not too sweet. I'm going to try the Licorice or Blue Moon next time. They do large servings and are a local buisness that has taken significant measures to be environmentally responsible by recycling and reusing plastic containers, etc.
