Amazing service & amazing people
Great place with great people. We broke down while cruising past oriental and pulled in to Zimmerman Marine for emergency repairs. Everybody here was fantastic. Even though they were very busy they managed to get us on the lift and helped figure out exactly what needed to be done. Everyone we interacted with was highly professional good at what they do and very helpful. In addition to being professional, they were very kind to us and helped to make our stay pleasant. Previously called Deatons Marine because it was owned by a resident family, this was the finest marine outfitting and repair facility in the mid-ICW region. Recently, it was purchased by the Marine service conglomerate, Zimmerman's, yet still staffed with the same excellent personnel, minus the Deatons themselves. Still a great facility, but one star - the one you can only get when a family stands behind its name - is lost, at least until the "magic" that was Deatons is restored.
