How do you set up an appointment? Ive never seen it this difficult to set one up. Can’t get anyone except Zack to answer and it’s obviously not his dept.
I am a caregiver for my dear friend who is undergoing chemotherapy. On Friday, Feb 21st, after her appointment, she advised that she saw an Ensure coupon in one of the magazines in the doctor's waiting room. Unbeknownst to us, one of the Registration Specialists, Ms. McKenzie Robson, heard our conversation and graciously gave us a few Ensure coupons. This was such a thoughtful gesture on her part!! I did not come to have the lady that draws blood lecture me on president Trump cutting funds to fema while having a needle in my arm! I thought this was a cancer center not a political organization. She was rude and aggressive. I will not be back!
December 2024 - The rating from June was ONE star. It is only fair that I update it, as recent experiences at Zimmer have been great, notwithstanding the fact we need to be there. It appears that processes and such have been implemented and the patient experiences, as far as we can tell, are much closer to what we experienced under the previous ownership. How is a regional cancer center not open on the weekends? I live in Wilmington, but Zimmer is not a viable option for my IV chemo treatment because they don’t offer weekend services. I have to drive to Duke for the next 3 months because I require a continuous 10 day cycle of IV Chemo that would obviously require weekend infusions. I now need to rent something by Duke for 10 days and return home, a treatment that could be much more continently and more affordably administered in Wilmington.
