I had a great time meeting Ray and his team at Zillies during my solo travels to the island. The wine was delicious, and I was only sad not to be around for the upcoming wine tasting. I will certainly be back with friends at a future tasting!
Best place on Ocracoke for an amazing wine selection and gourmet snacks! Zillie’s has such a great atmosphere, and the staff are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and super helpful when it comes to picking out the perfect bottle.
We went to the Thursday night wine tasting. It was wonderful. The wines were amazing and the owners are amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It is a casual wine tasting that makes you feel comfortable...not pretentious at all! So fun! A "must do" while on island!

Wide variety of beer, wine and ch-board snacks. Sweet front porch seating. Met the owners on site, who shared a wealth of local info. Best Happy Hour spot on the island.
