We had a wonderful wedding at the Boerner Botanical Gardens. The venue itself is lovely, and we loved every second of our day. However, we were highly disappointed by Zilli Hospitality’s poor execution and communication. Despite detailed planning, they missed several contract requirements on our wedding day. Zilli Hospitality Group was absolutely unbelievable. From start to finish, they were incredibly accommodating with our ongoing requests, changes, and modifications. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, including consistent follow-up, organized and easy-to-use planning documents, and quick responses to every question we had. Yesterday we got married at Western Lakes Golf Club, which has Zillis as a catering company. We received multiple compliments throughout the night about the staff and food. The staff were helpful with promptly following through on any requests. Throughout the planning process, I emailed one of the managers frequently. She was quick to respond and to help our day to run smoothly. The food was amazing! Our personal favorite was the pesto salad and the tenderloin.
When we chose to have our wedding at Boerner Botanical Gardens, I had no idea how exceptional our experience with Zilli Hospitality Group would be. Admittedly, we chose Boerner because we loved the venue space and ZHG happened to be the exclusive caterer. Candy has been such a pleasure to work with and was very helpful when it came to one of our customize desserts. Our guest loved all the food and the station setup that we've chosen.
