Lead cashier Pam first told me I couldn’t make a return without a receipt. Had to remind her that it can be found with an Ace Rewards number. I don’t appreciate the hostility, especially since I used to work here and I know what’s expected. She didn’t meet that friendly standard.
Nice hardware store. Had the perfect red two-wheel wheelbarrow in stock. Bruce let me wheel it out of the store, and helped me get it into my truck. A "Great Ace" shopping experience. (Still miss the "Great Ace" on Clark and Diversey many years ago!) A great marketing concept left behind ...👍💯
Bruce at Zieglers, South Elgin, just helped me find the correct windshield wipers and even installed them for me! Great guy and always a great place to get what you need!
