Matt is the go-to guy for large animals. I've used Matt for over 15 years and I've never been disappointed with the care he has given my horses. As far as I am concerned there is no one better as a person or a vet.
My introduction to Dr Paxton was under the worst circumstances. My beloved mare had severe colic. He came promptly that morning and came back in the late afternoon to check on her. He gave me appropriate medications and told me to call during the night if the situation got worse. It did get much worse - I called him at 2am and he got there incredibly quickly. He was kind and caring - the very best I could have asked for.

I have never been disappointed with the care received from Matt Paxton for my horse, Comanche'.... He has answered all my questions about anything regarding her health, and has been wonderfully gentle with her, when floating her teeth, or giving vaccines. Great attitude, good humor...and all together... a fantastic experience!!!
Was this veterinarian able to perform all basic as well as complicated procedures? Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care Does this provider welcome questions? Absolutely! They are happy to answer all of my questions Does this provider treat their staff well? Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better
