Great place to go with a big group so you can try lots of things
I anticipated walking into the restaurant hoping to feel like I was going back to Israel. Although the atmosphere is more American upscale the food is not. The Zhug itself came out and was delicious and once I tore the Pita and dipped it into the Zhug, that is when I was brought back to Israel.
Basic atmosphere for this small plates only place. Two is enough to match a solid entre. The house green sauce is bright and has nice residual heat. The only minor complaint is some of the dishes, such as the calamari and the mujadra are a little oily. Not bad, but a bit more than I like. The bread needs more salt and, ideally, to age the dough for flavor. Not a strong contributor, but everything else makes up for it.
