Zero Stars but that is not an option. Waited 6.5 hours. Never saw a doctor and was send home with four percocet pills for pain and told to call an ENT on Monday. Everyone moving in slow motion and very bad vibes from some of the female staff. Not a healthy place in any sense of the word. The service received in ten minutes after waiting 6.5 hours could have been done within an hour of arriving. I left feeling much worse then when I arrived. This is why many reach for Heroin for pain relief. Learn about soccer moms dying from... read more
The front desk staff is unpleasant and regrettably, the ultrasound tech was condescending. for reasons that became more obvious as the exam went on. What should have been a joyous occasion, ie. the first ultrasound of our first baby was overshadowed by the ultrasound tech & judgmental comments. I was disturbed by their conduct because my experience with 'Dedicated to Women ObGyn' (the Bayhealth affiliated imaging center in Dover) is consistently 5 stars across the board.
We visited the 665 S Bay Rd Dover & were we’re greeted by Regina who helps you check in & get you where you need to be. It’s so refreshing to see a smiling face helping out in circumstances where you are already stressed & having to have tests done in an unfamiliar atmosphere. Thank you Regina for your help in making this visit more pleasant that we expected it to be The staff & check in was also pleasant!
I've been waiting well over TWO (2) weeks now for a call to schedule an appointment for a procedure. My wife has called THREE (3) times and absolutely nothing! In the pass, I never had an issue. This is ridiculous. I cannot even see my doctor because they keep calling me to postpone my appointments. STOP ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE ONES YOU'VE BEEN SEEING ALREADY, YOU GREEDY SOB'S.
She listens and understands it’s hard for people to open up.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Most arrogant physician I have ever met. On two occasions now I have been "treated" by Dr. Fumento in the Bayhealth ER. Each time was an unforgettable experience in terms of bedside manner. He is incredibly condescending and jumps to conclusions unsupported by any form of evidence. Based on these conclusions, he fails to provide the appropriate care. I have also recieved this type of treatment from this doctor. Never met a worse doctor in my life.
Was recommended to go to her for counseling so I went. Opened up and talked about a lot of depression and trauma in my life and she gave no recommendations or anything of that matter to help deal. She sent me on my way exactly at the hour and interrupted me mid sentence to get me out of there quicker. Gave me a piece of paper that asked extremely general questions you would ask a five year old to answer. Months go by and I finally figured out what can help my depression and have been told ESA’s actually help. Requested her t... read more
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the extraordinary care provided to my father, during his recent stay on Unit 6B at Bayhealth’s Sussex Campus. Despite the personal challenges he faces and the fact that he can be difficult—even at times unappreciative—the staff treated him with remarkable compassion, professionalism, and respect throughout his admission. Their unwavering commitment to his well-being, regardless of his demeanor, did not go unnoticed. While I was unable to complete the hospital’s standard after... read more
I find it deplorable that patients who were referred to Bayhealth by the Occupational Health center should have to wait hours (going on 6 hours now)for a chest x-ray. But a strep culture was more important. Both procedures do not take this long. The patients were referred due to smoke inhalation from a recent fire at their home. One of the patients has asthma & the other patient is 11 years old & shouldn't have to wait this long to have their needs attended too. Was just informed they are now waiting for a bed so the do... read more
