I can say this one is the worst Dr. offices I ever experienced in my lifetime. I am really shocked how they staying in business when they do not even care about their patients. It’s also very upsetting that their working with sensitives things & they don’t even give damn about patients. On my first appt after 5-6 months, while the dr was talking with me the front desk just left us before Dr finished with me. I am deeply disappointed in my experience with Dr. Zeynep Alpay-Savasan. During a critical point in my pregnancy, I was told I wouldn’t make it and that there was “nothing she could do for me.” Thankfully, I advocated for myself and sought a second opinion at the University of Michigan, that ultimately saved my pregnancy. Every mother deserves a provider who will advocate for her and explore all possible options, not dismiss her. Staff is very professional & sweet. However, I just read my notes in MyChart. I do not appreciate the way the doctor dictated my history & misquoted several statements. The crazy thing is I already could feel she gave off an air of judgement during questioning at appointments. Afterwards I felt like some of the questions she’s asked weren’t asked out of relevancy they were asked to look down upon her patient’s personal choices & situations. My fertility specialist wanted me to see this doctor because I have M.S. and going through fertility treatments. Dr. Savasan’s office called to schedule the consult but didn’t have openings for another 7 months, and I was actively going through the IVF process. When I declined to stop the process to wait for them to have time to see me, they wrote in my Corewell chart and to my doctor that I decline services. Dr. Alpay is kind hearted and caring. At my first visit with her she spent time going over all my worries and questions, I left feeling relieved and hopeful that another baby just may be in our future. As someone who sadly struggles with health anxiety especially after a miscarriage, her patience and kindness meant the world to me.
