I bought my 1st car there for $50 many years ago at auction in the 1960's.
I see that it's finally closing,it used to be a great place years ago.So sad that it was left to a slow painful death,.No maintenance ,no paving ,no repairs ever made .The vendors started leaving and the crowds followed.I will really miss what it used to be.Oh well still have the Q mart and Green Dragon to go to !
We sold things at zerns Market since the 1970s probably 72. Eventually we had the wood sign shop at door 2. I looked forward to going there every weekend Friday and Saturday to see all my friends. I didn't make much money but we all had a lot of fun with our friends. I will miss them if the market really closes in the next few months. Who could forget my 365 lb pumpkin jack-o'-lantern at Halloween. The place is at least half empty and appears to be falling apart. Going the way of the dinosaur I guess. Sad.
