I had my first perimenopause consultation with Dr. Janna. She is a compassionate amazing doctor. I'm grateful finding her. She listened to my concerns and symptoms I was experiencing. She explained to me what was going on with my body and how we can tackle those symptoms.
I love working with Dr. Janna. She is smart, experienced, down-to-earth and super knowledgeable. I feel so empowered after we meet, and thanks to her, have really become invested in my health in my middle age in a super proactive way. She presents options, gives great advice, and thoroughly explains the choices we have during menopause to get to feeling like ourselves again. I'm so happy I found her!
I was excited for my first appointment with Dr. Gelderman-Moffett, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, Dr. Gelderman-Moffett seemed unsure if I was scheduled for a 'Meet and Greet' or a full new patient appointment, which left me confused. Her demeanor was not welcoming, and I felt uncomfortable right away. Additionally, I only had Apple Pay to pay for services, but was told unapologetically that I would need to reschedule. Seeing Dr Gelderman-Moffett was a game changer. I was feeling emotionally flat for so long, had chronic pain, hot flashes, weight gain, etc. My GP was not well-versed enough to help, but Doctor was patient, prescribed hormones and other meds and after several years I am finally sleeping well again and my mood is back to one of hope and joy again!
When do you ever spend a solid hour with your doctor talking about everything possible to improve your health? I cannot quite convey how cared for and seen I feel.
