Julie does not communicate well at all with patients (nor parents) and thinks it is ok to say that you will be waiting around (virtually) for 20 minutes, so she is constantly late to her appointments. Then, just tries to up meds or change them, and is close-minded about discussing other medications. Ignores requests for letters in support of disability claims. decided early on that i had a particular condition, did not budge from this decision, prescribed several medications that either did nothing to alleviate symptoms or made things worse, and basically left me on my own to get a diagnosis independently if I wanted to try something else. I did not feel like I was being taken seriously past the first appointment and decided after a few months my time was better spent elsewhere.
If I were you, I’d seek a proper psychiatrist elsewhere, this place is a scam. I filled out every bit of paperwork, did their online “screeners” (the raads/ catq) all for them to refuse to schedule me with the one psychiatrist who has openings and accepts my insurance. They did schedule me with a provider who didn’t even accept my insurance and didn’t let me know until the night before. Poor communication. Seeking help for sleeplessness due to anxiety for Julie Angileri at ZenDen/Capstone was one of the worst decisions in my life. Julie and her office staff misrepresented the acceptance of my insurance. I saw on their website that they accepted my insurance and was “in network” as well as getting verbal verification from her office that this was the case.
