Sushi on a conveyor belt. It’s ok. It is hit or miss for the sushi you want on the conveyor. Not Tokyo sushi good. The best is the sunset roll. Prefer to order from the kitchen. It is warmer. Still a good place to eat before the movie.
I love that I can run in at lunch, grab a couple of plates and zip out quickly. The food is good. There are lots of funky rolls, if you really don’t like raw fish; not my thing. However, sake nigiri is no longer on the belt and has to be ordered from waitstaff. It can be difficult to flag someone down in such a large venue. We didn’t get to try the sushi because the hostess seated us in a much worse location, far from the light, even though we specifically asked to sit in a different spot that was completely free and not reserved. I don’t understand why it was so difficult to simply hand us over to her colleague, whose section it was. Instead of begging to sit where we preferred, we just left. Disappointing experience.
The food is good as usual and the service has gone downhill. Tonight I went we my mom, service was terrible. The waitress we had, kept walking back and forth without acknowledging us when needing a refill and wanting something from the kitchen while helping out the table behind me (and overcharged the family). She had that snotty/bitchy attitude with her head held high. Had to talk to her twice to get those things. She only came when it was time to get the check.
Nigiri was not great, a friend and I had salmon and tuna between the two of us and both were warm. I was only brave enough to eat one piece, and I typically enjoy nigiri. Price points are far too high for the quality you receive. Service was fine, I don't expect servers to be super attentive when we're pulling from the belt. The only thing I really enjoyed was the big Buddha statue.
