Excellent instructor for Vale Tudo style submission wrestling . Learned the fundamentals. No cardio nonsense, no drills, just rough and tumble wrestling tactics.

I met Lawrence when I first moved to NYC, 7 years ago. I had some martial arts experience but no wrestling experience, and Lawrence carefully guided me through submission holds and soft rolls. Over a short period of time, I was able to pick up the rhythm and roll fairly consistently, learning other tips and techniques along the way. Amazing instructor, had been looking for years for this kind of old school wrestling and grappling hands on instruction/workout. A recommendation to anyone looking to get a killer workout and increase their ground game and grappling skills. Very affordable and he has a wide open schedule to meet and work with you. No memberships no dues no frills pay as you go!

Lawrence is a seasoned submission wrestler who makes sure that you learn something new every session. I already had a few sessions with him and I guarantee you that he is very strong but always takes the time to answer your questions or teach you some new moves you're interested in. This helps me to put my all in and quicken my growth. He's a great guy on and off the mat and a pleasure to wrestle!

Had a very positive experience working with Lawrence. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and a great teacher. I will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend for beginners wanting to learn wrestling/submission.
