Wonderful place, beautiful area, great food, knowledgeable and super fun instructor. Take home a finished piece, even if you've never done glass! Amazing.
I will be honest...I was going with a friend who wanted to learn how to make a stained glass piece. I had told her it was very difficult and I really wasn't interested. She searched the internet for classes and found this unique opportunity to go away for a weekend stay at a B&B that is on the water. Barney is a wonderful teacher. I’ve been going back every year since 2012. The house and lake are just stunning. Very highly recommend.
Barney is a dream to work with. She accommodates the most basic beginner up to allowing creative freedom to a more advanced student. With all the glass, supplies and tools supplied the price is excellent given a completed work of art when you leave. Her studio is well laid out, lunch is provided. Plenty of parking and scheduling an appointment is easy. I plan to return to make my third panel at the end of the month.
