I have worked with Vlad-Marian Zait for an ERV order to our home in Alexandria, Virginia. Vlad is very knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. After long research I came to the conclusion that the Zehnder ERV products may be slightly more expensive, but in the long run they are cheaper and far superior quality. Update: Gary the current Service Manager from Zehnder America reached out to us and drove over 6 hours one way to diagnose and solve our problem. He offered to train a local HVAC technician of our choice. He showed my husband how to service and maintain the unit and said if we ever have problems getting service to make sure to contact him and he will do everything he can to help us by call or video call . Zehnder Comfo Air 200 installed in 2019 in rural Maine. When it was in operation less than 4 years with regular care and maintenance it burned through two very expensive fans, and spent 6 month inoperable because the service tech couldn't get to us and couldn't get a part. However the designer/builders who sold us the unit told us he had no problem getting the same part. Unique product that no other competitor matches feature for feature, but trying to buy it for replacing an old Venmar (bypass setup) is impossible. Three phone calls with Zehnder that went well, one with the distributor that went poorly, one with a local installer that said he won't do the ordering because Zehnder is too hard to get parts from, a couple of emails to Zehnder to try to get a part list to purchase not responded to, one RFQ submitted via their website not responded to.
