I purchased a non running XR8 ute sight unseen and called Ellis to help me get it back on the road. He went above and beyond, bringing a trailer to pick it up and take it to his workshop. Quickly found and resolved the problem. Price was very reasonable, good communication. I would highly recommend this guy! Best mechanic in town considering most places wouldn’t even touch it as they didn’t want to push it around the shop.
I recently had a pre-purchase car inspection done through Zeds Auto, and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the service. The inspection was done, and the next day I paid for the car. However, from the first ride itself, the service symbol came on, indicating issues. Upon further investigation, I found the car was 3,500km overdue for a service, something I would expect to have been flagged during the inspection.
