I have never had an issue with this location directly, but rather with the company as a whole. It seems like at least once a month they run a “system maintenance” during the day on a Sunday leaving the customers without access to their balances, making transfers between accounts, and the ATM is down. Just because the bank is closed on Sundays does not mean everyone else’s lives stop, not being able to transfer between accounts can cause real issues for some.
Nicole and Beckie from the Southgate branch of the Zeal Credit Union were extremely helpful and professional in assisting my wife Linda and myself in acquiring a new car loan. We were purchasing 2025 Chevrolet Traverse, they even matched a lower rate that another credit union that we are members at had quoted. Thank again Nicole and Beckie.
I know the reviews are low and there are many reasons for that. They will not work with you on solving your issue but will charge you $10 to solve it over the phone. Just don't go here. Period.
I have been a member for over 10 years and I have been very happy with the service I receive. I have had two car loans and the loan officers have been great. The staff has always been professional and very knowledgeable and helpful.
