We use to love this Zaxby's. It was convenient, food was great and the staff was always nice. The last 3-4 times we have been in have consistently gotten worse with cleanliness and customer service. This time was so bad we finally just walked out. Mid order the cashier just ghosted. So disappointed. Zaxby's needs to remember that Bryant has so many chicken places the only thing that made it stand out was the convenience of location and customer service. So we placed a curbside order, we were sent an email with directions on how to check in, so we did what we were prompted to do via the email and the curbside parking sign. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I called the store and let them know we’d been waiting that long for our order, and the manager, Kaitlyn, answered and told me that it doesn’t let them know when you check in and that you have to go inside and let them know your there. They have used shrinkflation at least at this location. The chicken fingers were about 1/2 to 3/4 the normal size. They are already expensive for what you get and now that they are serving more of child portions it isn't worth it in my opinion. I'll try another location before writing the chain off though.
