The food is fresh every time I visit!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Zaxby's is a welcome addition to the Avon area. Today, I ordered a Cobb Salad and a House Salad. The vegetables were not fresh. The cucumber tasted moldy and bitter. The lettuce was wilted and dry, with some leaves being partially black. We order these salads once or twice a week, and this is the first time we have had such bad luck with an order. I am so disappointed in a meal (salads and lemonades) that cost almost $40 to be so bad.
Went thru the drive thru today and ordered a cobb salad and some cheddar bites. The young lady that took my order was very nice. Told me to park at spot 1 and they would bring it out. Mind you no one else was in the drive thru but me. About 30 minutes later I go in. The young lady at the front cashier (very nice) asked could she help me. I got food poisoning from this location. Ensure your food is cooked thoroughly. Will not be coming back.
