New in North Raleigh I have eaten there twice so far. Every time I mention it in conversation, the response is "where is there one around here?" I can count on one hand the number of prior visits to any one of their store before this. The food and service has been good. Every order requiring a vibrating pager is a bit unusual. Love The Food! This Zaxby's has excellent food as do all Zaxby's in my opinion. The employees are extremely nice and go above and beyond expectations to make sure that you are accomodated with what you need. Great place to eat!
very good chicken, not greasy Zaxby's has some really good chicken, and its not real greasy like KFC's can be. It is a little expensive for what you get, an order of 10 chicken strips cost $8. You also have to pay extra for sauces other than the "Zaxby's Sauce." It is prepared quickly, excellent parking and the food is good.
Best Staff In Town ! 5 Star ! by far the best staff in town ! food always good ..and did I mention the best tea in town as well ? always a friendly smiling face from the staff.. Try the new road house salad . its out of this world !
Stay home A friend and I tried this place because the food always looks good in its advertisements. Neither of us could finish our food. I got the chicken salad sandwich and before getting half of it eaten, I felt sick on my stomach and bloated by all the salt. My friend said his was just too greasy for him. In my opinion, the tea was average and you can make your own chicken based foods better in your own home.
Chicken, Anyone? To me, Zaxby's is sort of an upscaled version of a fast-food restaurant. It's an order-and-carry-your-food-to-your-table restaurant so there are no servers (no tips). We enjoy the chicken choices and the huge salad.
FOUL LANGUAGE People don't know how to run a business. They curse at their customers when calling to make orders over the phone in the middle of the day. Personally I think the business should be shut down if they treat people like that.
Zaxbys Chicken Fingers Good quick chicken fingers. Can get sauces from mild to very very hot. I love the chicken salsa salad. Great place to take kids. Reasonably priced. Can get free refills on drinks.
Grease just got a little healthier... a very little Zaxby's is delicious. Growing in popularity throughout the South, it all started around the Athens area, and we're proud of it. And all that addictive taste is no longer cooked in trans-fats. Hooray! I only wish there were fresher sides available to compliment all that greasy goodness.
